QuickStudy

Privacy Policy

QuickStudy is built with privacy as a first principle. No data ever leaves your device.

No Data Collected

QuickStudy does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no sign-in requirements, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. QuickStudy's App Store privacy label reflects this: no data types are collected or linked to your identity.

On-Device AI

All AI features — including document summarisation and study card generation — run entirely on your device using Apple Foundation Models. Your documents, notes, and study content are never sent to any server or third-party AI service. No external AI provider has access to your content.

Local Storage & Data Retention

QuickStudy stores your content locally using AppStorage and UserDefaults — standard iOS storage mechanisms. Nothing is synced to external servers. Because no data is collected by the app, there is no server-side retention period.

All locally stored content (your documents, scan history, and study cards) is retained on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall QuickStudy. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all associated local data.

App Permissions

QuickStudy may request the following iOS permissions:

Permissions are requested only when you initiate the relevant action. You can revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

No Third-Party SDKs

QuickStudy contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking frameworks. There are no external dependencies that could introduce data collection or sharing by a third party.

Deleting Your Data

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are always in full control of it. You can delete individual documents or study sets within the app at any time. To remove all data associated with QuickStudy, uninstall the app from your device. This permanently deletes all locally stored content.

There is no account to close and no server-side data to request deletion of — none exists.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data under applicable law (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, UK GDPR, and California Consumer Privacy Act). Because QuickStudy does not collect, process, or store any personal data on external systems, there is no personal data held by the developer to access, correct, export, or erase.

If you have any questions or wish to exercise any rights, you can contact the developer directly at jaidenhenleydev@gmail.com.

Children's Privacy

QuickStudy is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in applicable EU member states). The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Because no data is collected from any user, no data is collected from minors.

Apple's Role

QuickStudy is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain device and transaction information as part of operating the App Store and iOS platform. This collection is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not this policy. The QuickStudy developer has no access to any data Apple collects.

If you use iCloud Backup, iOS will include your locally stored QuickStudy data in that backup. This is managed entirely by Apple and iOS — the developer has no access to backed-up content.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
