Requirements
QuickStudy requires iOS 26 or later and an iPhone or iPad that supports Apple Intelligence. On-device AI features rely on Apple Foundation Models, which are available on Apple Silicon devices.
Scan Quality
The scan result looks blurry or incomplete. For best results, hold your device steady in good lighting and ensure the document fills most of the camera frame. Avoid scanning at an angle — QuickStudy works best when the page is flat and parallel to the camera.
PDF Import
I can't import my PDF / the import isn't working. QuickStudy supports standard PDF files. Very large PDFs (over ~50 pages) may take a moment to process. If import fails, try splitting the PDF into smaller sections or re-exporting it from the original source application.
Offline Usage
Does QuickStudy need an internet connection? No. All features — scanning, AI summarisation, and study card generation — run entirely on-device. QuickStudy works fully offline and never requires a network connection.
Data & Storage
Where is my data stored? Can I back it up? All your documents and study cards are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage. Your data is included in standard iOS device backups (iCloud Backup or iTunes/Finder). Nothing is stored on external servers.
